Giuseppe Cavuoti

International lawyer, expert in Commercial Law. Executive Director of the “Mission Structure for Maritime Policies” of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Adjunct scholar in Private Law at Roma Tre University. Adjunct scholar in Elements of Geopolitics and Maritime Law at the University of Bari. Lecturer in the Master’s Program in Labor Law and Welfare at Roma Tre University.

He has served as a member of the Legal Studies Center of the Bar Council of Rome and was a member of the Labor Commission of the Rome Bar. He is a high-profile scholar of the Blue Economy and Maritime Navigation Law, fields in which he has developed extensive experience and expertise. He has collaborated with numerous nationally renowned jurists, in addition to his professional activities in administrative, civil, and tax law.

He has organized and coordinated numerous “round tables” on these topics, also with the support of several Italian universities, both at the Court of Cassation and with the Bar Council of Rome. He has contributed significantly, including through published articles, to the scientific dissemination of the complex field of Maritime Affairs, also acting as promoter, creator, and facilitator of cultural and training protocols with the Bar of Rome and relevant Institutes, Observatories, and Associations, always within the maritime sector.

Finally, he conceived and promoted a broad and structured multidisciplinary working group involving public and private entities, established on a permanent basis at the national level on Maritime Policies. Within this network, thematic working groups for in-depth study, coordination, discussion, and proposal were established, for which he served as coordinator.
