SocietĂ Italiana di Elettromagnetismo
SIEm, acronym for Società Italiana di Elettromagnetismo (“Italian Society of Electromagnetism”), is a non-profit scientific association that promotes the study and advancement of electromagnetism in Italy, with particular attention to engineering applications.
Individuals interested may apply for membership as Ordinary members (if they are natural persons) or Collective members (if they are Institutions, Research Centers, Consortia—public, private, or mixed). SIEm is organized into Research Units, grouping together members who work in or with the same university or public/private research institution.
SIEm’s activities are coordinated by a Scientific Council, composed of one representative from each Research Unit and periodically revised by the General Assembly of members. Administration is managed by the Board of Directors.
