SIEm – Società Italiana di Elettromagnetismo (Italian Society of Electromagnetics) is pleased to present the first in a series of training days on science communication.
The event is for PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers and professors. It is a chance to learn how to turn results and innovations in electromagnetics into effective written news for the media and social networks, appealing to the general public.
Guided by professional journalists and science communicators, participants will gain theoretical and practical tools to:
- understand how the world of journalism works;
- identify the news in their own research results;
- write a press release;
- prepare content for social media platforms;
- receive feedback and improve their texts;
- take the first steps towards publication on official channels.

The fee covers the training day, the social dinner on 23 November, and lunch and coffee breaks on 24 November.
